She Kept Finding Her Neighbour’s Car Parked on Her Drive so She Finally Had It Towed and Sent the Neighbour the Bill

Recently, a woman shared how she got her neighbor’s car towed because the neighbor persistently parked on her driveway without permission. Here’s what she had to say about the situation.

A few days ago, the woman came home from work and saw that her neighbor’s car was parked on her driveway. She was confused and so asked her neighbor very nicely to move the car, which she did.

The husband asked her not to

The day after, the husband came home from work before she did, and he saw the neighbor’s car on their driveway again! Annoyed, he went over and asked if she could move her car and explained that she couldn’t do that because it wasn’t her house.

She did it again

He told his wife that the neighbor was polite about it and that she apologized and moved her car, but on the third day, the woman came home after a doctor’s appointment and saw her neighbor’s car parked on her drive AGAIN.

Something was going on, so the woman decided to confront her neighbor, but she seemed oblivious to the problem. She said, “what do you mean?” The woman told her, ” you keep parking your car in our driveway after we’ve asked you nicely not to do that. Why do you keep doing it?”

The neighbor explained

The neighbor finally came clean and explained that she had a big camper parked on her own driveway, which took up a lot of space, so there wasn’t enough space to park the car.

The woman gave her a choice

The woman was dumbfounded. She told her neighbor she had to figure something else out because she couldn’t park on their driveway anymore. She had been told to stop, and if she did it one more time, they would tow her car.

It didn’t work

The neighbor apologized once again and promised that it wouldn’t happen anymore. But a few days later, when the couple returned from dinner, there it was…. The neighbor’s car was parked on their drive.

“I told my husband that was it! Enough is enough! I’m going to tow her car because she’s been warned,” the woman said. Her husband agreed, and they had her car towed. The woman also handed the bill to the neighbor, and their relationship has now turned sour.

The neighbor left a note in the woman’s mailbox, accusing the woman of being a drama queen, and she wants to be repaid for the tow bill. She feels that the woman could have handled the situation like an adult instead of being childish.

One user said, “NTA. Three warnings not to do it, last one a clear final warning “do it again and you get towed,” and she did it again and got towed. Unless someone else is parking her car there for her and not telling her, this is all on her, and even if that’s the case, none of it is on you.”

Another wrote, “Yeah, they’ve been nice enough. I can’t imagine the audacity of parking in a neighbor’s driveway, even once, without asking. I can’t imagine even asking, really.”
